The project was designed for recreational activities and the development of water sports, such as sport fishing, swimming competitions, kayaking, and other related activities. Supporting facilities, as well as various sports and recreational spaces, are planned along both shores of the lake.

This project was awarded second prize in the design competition organized by the Municipality of Mitrovica.
